The IProximityOperator::ReturnDistance method returns an Automation Error when finding the distance between a Point feature and features in a PolyLine feature class.

解决办法
Re-projecting the point to the polyline’s Coordinate System using IGeometry::Project we do not receive the error and the ReturnDistance method returns the distance between the point and polyline features.
