Some of the JAXA PALSAR data that does not have that extension will require to be converted via a tool such as MapReady created by the University of Alaska.<a href="http://www.asf.alaska.edu/sardatacenter/softwaretools" target="_blank">http://www.asf.alaska.edu/sardatacenter/softwaretools</a>---Open the File Formats list and add "*1.1__A" to the list.
