The Extrude Between (3D Analyst) tool fails to output all features and introduces artifacts when using features classes with large numbers of vertices as input in ArcGIS Pro 3.5.

解决办法

The only workaround that was identified was to incrementally process the data using ModelBuilder (ModelWorkaround.jpg).

The model is in the toolbox with the data package (ExtrusionSubsetModel).

The model isolates the features from the al_domain_PairwiseBuffer layer via Iterate feature selection > passes that to Extrude Between, and then appends to a target multipatch feature class in the geodatabase.

Runtime is 38 minutes 36 seconds.

Output Multipatch > AppendOutput_MP

Missing ORIG_FID 1003 > No warning in model messages that the feature is missing.
