The ArcGIS Survey123 web form does not allow continuing typing until the 'permitted but not required character' is filled in when an input mask is applied to a text question.

• The cursor can be moved using the arrow keys or by highlighting the desired section with a cursor and clicking within the highlight.
• Use the mobile app or ArcGIS Survey123 Connect to continue typing in the required characters.
