Republishing a story removes the description added to the story's item from the item details page.

This is an expected behavior. When the 'Update ArcGIS item details...' option is enabled, a snippet of text from the story's first few paragraphs is added as the item's description. When this option is enabled, the information above overwrites the ArcGIS item details when published. Disable the 'Update ArcGIS item details...' to avoid updating the item information.重现步骤
