解决办法

1. In ArcCatalog, select the MXD and display it in the Description tab.2. Click Edit and then click Save.This creates an XML document for the map document. The XML component of this MXD can be seen from Windows Explorer.3. Run the Metadata Importer tool using the same Source and Target Metadata, and it should complete successfully.
