Maplex Label Engine fails to draw labels if the text contains six or more non-consecutive spaces (for example, "1 2 3 4 5 6 7") while using the Street Placement option for label placement. ArcMap 10.1 SP1 crashes if the label contains nine or more non-consecutive spaces (for example, "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0").
