解决办法

Rebuild the spatial index using a direct connection from ArcCatalog 10.0 SP1. (Works when deleting and recalculating the spatial index. Does not work if the feature class is already in 'load only' i/o mode.)

In ArcSDE 9.2, if a feature class has archiving enabled and then set to load only io mode, the historic layer cannot be set back to normal io mode.
