In ArcGIS Pro, the Alter Field geoprocessing tool does not clear the alias when the box is checked.

1. Manually navigate to the feature class or attribute table.
2. Right-click the feature class or table, and select Attribute Table.
3. Click Field View, and select 'Clear alias manually.'
