The issue is unable to be reproduced on multiple iOS devices. It has been tested with both 'limit access' and 'full access' settings for album browsing, and everything works as expected. Both JPG and HEIC images are being selected without issues.
Possible solutions to try:
- Update the ArcGIS Survey123 field app to the latest version.
- Manually re-enable the image access settings.
