附加信息
In general, when reviewing batch geocoding results in a table, Point Address and Sub Address matches are generally more accurate than a Street Address match. If batch geocoding results show this type of degradation from a Point Address match to a Street Address match between StreetMap Premium releases, users can report the issue using the ArcGIS Online Geocoding Feedback Map https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b7d30c782d63401894b36a44e62f76a9.
The degradation may be due to adjustments in the reference data used to build the locator. However, it is also worth investigating outside of the table results of where the batch geocoding result lands to see if this degradation matters or why it may have occurred. In the case of: 93A Cottage Street, Danielson, CT, 06239, the result did degrade (although the results were still within 30 feet of each other), but in the case of: 4101 Tiger Lily Rd Ste 100, Lincoln, NE 68516, the previous point address match was to a large empty parcel. After the building was completed, the entry point for mail delivery was moved to the street closer to the front of the completed building, a Street Address match. So, depending on your geocoding purpose, delivering packages versus locating a building for taxing/insurance purposes, for example, a Street Address match may serve the purpose as well as a Point Address match.
These addresses have been investigated and in the 2025Q2 Locator Update (releasing end of August 2025), the 4101 Tiger Lily Rd Ste 100, Lincoln, NE 68516 is back to matching to a Point Address.
