Follow this workaround to resolve the issue:

1. Enable the Caching UI buttons. Refer to this documentation for instructions: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/manage-feature-cache.htm.
2. Save or discard edits.
3. Click Empty from the Feature Cache group on the ribbon. Optionally, click Fill from the Feature Cache group on the ribbon.
