Calibration logic is confusing when performing linear referencing tasks on multipart route features, where the M's are distributed in opposite directions.

To workaround this – try one or either of the following:1) Drop the M’s from the input Route Feature so that M values will all be NaN. This will prevent the calibration code getting confused. Then run the calibration again – and you’ll get your expected results (1st screenshot).2) Use the Calibration Tool DIRECTLY on the line FC instead of the Route FC. The Calibrate Routes tool will take a Line as input (instead of the RouteFC) – this way the M’s will be assigned based on these calibration points right away.
