Applying alpha band for transparency with mosaic dataset function fails to keep the boundary of the layer clean from edge noise or border artifacts.

Apply the symbology on the image component in maps in ArcGIS Pro however when the mosaic dataset is published as a image service the function also performs poorly in image services. Publishing a map service when the layer is configured would be the workaround in Enterprise.

When building footprints in the mosaic dataset, applying a shrinking parameter can sometimes be helpful. However, being too aggressive in trimming the edges of the imagery might not be suitable in many situations..
