3-tier connection hangs, or it hangs while a feature class is created when ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE (64-bit) and Database (64-bit) are on the same 64-bit machine, unless a fully-qualified domain (server) name is used.

3 different workarounds:1. Use fully qualified domain name (e.g. <a href="http://sslghost6.esri.com" target="_blank">sslghost6.esri.com</a>) or the IP address in “Server” column in Connection Properties window.or2. Use Direct Connection with Oracle Client (32 bit) installed on same 64 bit machine.or3. Try to connect from remote machine (32 bit or 64 bit).重现步骤
