Add a new color to an existing Style set with ArcMap

Here are the steps to add a custom color to a Style set.

Procedure

  1. Open Styles > Style Manager from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the target Style on the Style Manager table of contents.
  3. Click the plus symbol (+) to the left of the Style to display its sub-folders.
  4. Select the Colors sub-folder.
  5. Right-click on the Content Window (right hand side of the Style Manager).
  6. Click New on the popup menu and select a color scheme (RGB, CMYK, HSV, Gray, Name).
  7. Define the desired color on the Select Color Dialog and click OK.
  8. Rename the new color, if desired, in the Contents portion of the Style Manager.
