Erro
Two polygons of the same Z-value have different areas of coverage when displayed in a 3D Scene Viewer application created using ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

The intersection plane changes drastically in global scenes because of the Earth curvature. Change the scene to local and the user gets a much more "stable" result. User can see it in the live app: https://codepen.io/ralucanicola/pen/abOoQRo?editors=1000 However, this is not suitable for flood analysis. Gert van Maren's solution is more reliable for flood analysis results.
