The symbology changes when the data source is updated from the Military Overlay template to an enterprise geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro.

This is a known issue.

Solução Provisória

When changing the data source of the layer with a SQL Server database, the Standard Identity field is being dropped in the Symbology pane. In the Symbology pane, just reset the Standard Identity to the Identity field and the template will be ready to use again.
