The Import 3D Files tool causes ArcGIS Pro to crash when used as a script tool and the model texture images are in the same folder as the model. 

Solução Provisória

If the texture file is needed, use the built-in Import 3D Files geoprocessing tool, either by selecting the individual *.wrl file or selecting the folder one level above the VRML model to work without a crash.
