Erro
The image quality of photos taken with the ArcGIS Survey123 mobile app is different or worse than photos taken with the default iOS camera on iOS 17 and higher.

iOS performs post-processing of images while they are taken, producing an enhanced image, whereas ArcGIS Survey123 only uses the physical sensors on the device and does not post-process the image. For best image results, use the max-pixels parameter on the image question and provide the default resolution for iOS images.Solução Provisória
- Avoid updating to iOS 17 for the time being.
- Enabling flash for photos can alleviate the issue in some situations.
- If taking photos in landscape orientation, flipping the phone to the right (power button facing up) can help alleviate the issue.
