Stacking labels using the "/" symbol in a label expression, is not honored if there is a space at the end of the value in the Attribute Table.

Solução Provisória

In the Fitting Strategy tab in Placement Properties when using Maplex for the 'Stack Label' Options button, delete the word 'space' from the list.
