Erro
Publishing an Excel file (.xls and .xlsx) with a text field containing numbers with more than 11 characters returns a numeric field with records not matching in the new hosted feature layer.

Solução Provisória
- Save the Excel file as CSV.
- Publish to ArcGIS Online using the Add an item from my computer option.
- Change the field type from Text to String.
