Erro
Publishing a survey from Survey123 Connect that contains a select_one question with a defined field length and choices exceeding the field length succeeds without error, but republishing the survey returns the error, "The existing data service is not compatible with the survey – (Field [fieldName] in [surveyName] length is too short [fieldLength]."

Solução Provisória
If data has already been collected, consider renaming the existing field in the survey and increasing or removing the field length value. A new field is added to the schema, which can be calculated to equal the old field, and the old field can be removed.
