Create DNS aliases unique for each combination of a server name and port number: SDE5153 - server spu60, port 5153, database GISD SDE5154 - server spu60, port 5154, database GISEORCreate aliases unique for each combination of a server name and port number in the Windows hosts file on the client machine: 10.44.0.77 sde1 Alias for port 5151 10.44.0.77 sde2 Alias for port 5152When populating the parameters for the ArcSDE Connection file, type the name of the alias that corresponds to the desired port in the Server text box.
