ArcGIS Instant Apps intermittent issue: The template example application is displayed after creating an instant app from a web map's item details page.

Create the app by clicking the app launcher in ArcGIS Online, and selecting ArcGIS Instant Apps. Next, choose a template and manually select the map not owned by the user.

1. Gather the app ID for the instant app (can be located at the end of the URL when configuring the app, or from the settings page).
2. Once the app ID is obtained, navigate to the app's item details page > Settings > Instant App > URL. In the URL box, add the parameter "?appid=<YOUR APPS ITEM ID>". Note that the URL is case-sensitive.
