Erro
After changing the label of a type (unique symbol) and removing a template from a feature layer in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, the layer became inaccessible and returned the error message, "An error occurred loading this layer".

Use the workflow in this documentation to remove the template using ArcGIS REST API. If the template is removed this way, the feature layer remains accessible.
