Site Scan for ArcGIS Flight Planning を使用して複数のバッテリーのフライトを飛ばす

Last Published: September 1, 2023

サマリー

A single battery generally enables the survey of up to 50 acres, but with Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS, it is possible to split a flight between multiple batteries to survey larger areas. This feature operates automatically without any input from the user.

手順

When planning a survey, the Site Scan Flight app approximates the number of fully charged batteries the drone consumes to complete the flight. Below is an image of a planned a survey that will consume two batteries.

Take off as normal, note however, that the Flight app checks the battery before flying. If the battery is not fully charged, a battery capacity warning message is returned, as shown below. This warning provides the opportunity to swap out the battery for a fully charged one before taking off.

The drone flies the prescribed path capturing images along the way. Upon landing, the drone prompts for a battery change. Change the battery, or end the survey if it is no longer necessary to capture the remainder of the photos.

After replacing the battery, while waiting for the drone to reconnect, the Flight app prompts for continuation of the survey.

 Note:
This behavior occurs whether the survey was ended prematurely by the user, or the battery.

After tapping Continue Survey, swipe the Take Off slider to the right, and the drone continues to fly autonomously, capturing the aerial data.
