When changing 'Who can submit to this survey' in the Survey123 for ArcGIS web app for a survey published from Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS, the error, "Failed to save: Cannot read property 'success' of undefined" is returned. This occurs when trying to share a survey which includes a tile package for a custom basemap even though the survey is shared correctly.

There are two workarounds for this issue:

A. In new surveys

1. Design the survey (except for the media folder) and publish
2. Update and shave the sharing settings for the survey in Survey123 for ArcGIS website.
3. Copy content to the media folder.
4. Republish the survey from Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS.

B. With existing surveys

B.1. Update existing survey

1. Move the content of the media folder to a different location
2. Republish the survey.
3. Update and shave the sharing settings for the survey in Survey123 for ArcGIS website.
4. Move content back to the media folder.
5. Republish the survey.
6. Notice the sharing settings are retained after republishing.

B.2. Create a new survey

1. Create a copy of the survey in Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS (Save as from Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS).
2. Move the content of the media folder to a different location:
   1. In order to keep existing submissions from the original survey, use the submission URL to point the new submissions to the original hosted feature layer.
   2. Alternatively, export existing submissions from the original hosted feature layer as FGDB and use it to append existing data to the hosted feature layer for the new survey.
3. Publish the survey.
4. Update and save the sharing settings for the survey in Survey123 for ArcGIS website.
5. Copy content to the media folder.
6. Republish the survey from Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS.
