不具合
When adding the URL of the configuration file hosted over ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Earth, the "Unable to load configuration settings..." error message is returned.

This is a known limitation in ArcGIS Earth V1.12 as this feature is related to the newly supported item type Earth configuration (.xml) on ArcGIS Online 9.1. This will be addressed in the next release of ArcGIS Earth.対処法
If user do need to add the configuration via a URL, the current supported workflow is to upload this configuration as a zip file with the format 'code sample' to ArcGIS Online and add this zip item URL in ArcGIS Earth.
