Using a Web Map Service (WMS) or Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) from an external source as a basemap or layer for web maps fails the embed validation check in ArcGIS for Power BI yet works when the report is published.

対処法

The validation check shows what is on the map prior to embedding it. It might display, "failing" because it is not a WMS or WMTS published through, for example, ArcGIS Pro, but it is there from an external source. Publishing a WMS or WMTS and making it public allows the embed validation check to succeed. However, with the validated external WMS or WMTS, the negative embed and publish check does not affect the publishing.
