参考情報
Changing the Curb Approach to “Right Side of the Road” for the second stop changes the U-turn from being at that stop to now being at the intersection with Hakim Kemal Sokak, resulting in the route lengthening by 192 meters (96 meters to get to that intersection to turn around, and then another 96 meters of backtracking).
Attached are the images of the routes (with offsets to show where the route turns around) and the associated driving directions.
In the attached images the symbols are as follows:
• Green roads: Streets with no divider
• Black roads: Two-way streets with narrow median divider
• Black circles: Breaks in the narrow median divider that allow you physically (but not necessarily legally) to turn left or make a U-turn
• Black arrows: Indicates one-way streets in the direction of each arrow
Notice that there is a break in the median divider at Hakim Kemal Sokak that makes it physically possible to make a U-turn there, and the aerial photographs show the presence of this break. Also, street-level photographs show no presence of any signs prohibiting a U-turn, though there are no street markings for a dedicated turn lane on such a busy street. We are not familiar enough with the area as to whether this U-turn is legally permitted or not.
