1. Configure a simple serial chart without split-by that is sorted by statistics and has a maximum category setting.

2. Create a second chart with a split-by field and set it as a target of the first chart.

3. From the first chart’s Actions tab, configure multiple selection, and target the split-by chart.

4. Toggle on “Render only when filtered.”
