対処法

Running the tool from ArcCatalog or ArcMap periodically cleans up the leftover files. However, this process is only possible if running interactively, as opposed to running the process through a scheduled task or another similar approach.

The system .tmp folders can also be periodically cleaned out by some other user or task. This is not ideal, especially if there are multiple temporary folder locations or different users.
