不具合

The Apply Symbology From Layer tool unexpectedly applies the symbology to a new output layer when the tool's input layer is either a TIN, 32-bit float raster, or 64-bit raster, and the tool's symbology layer is created from the data that serves as the tool's input layer.

参考情報

The Apply Symbology From Layer tool is not replaced as a new tool will be created in the near term to allow users for more flexibility in which layer properties are transferred.

対処法

The following workaround is applicable if the input layer for the Apply Symbology From Layer tool is either a TIN layer or a raster.

  1. In ArcGIS Pro, in the Contents pane, select a single TIN Layer, 32-bit float raster, or 64-bit raster.
  2. After the layer is selected, on the Share tab, in the Save As group, select Layer File.
  3. In the Save Layer File dialog box, select a name and location to save the output layer file (.lyrx), and click Save.
  4. Open the Symbology pane of the layer selected in Step 1.
  5. In the Symbology pane, make changes to the selected layer's current symbology.
  6. Create a copy of the layer.
  7. Open the Apply Symbology From Layer tool. For Input Layer, click the drop-down arrow and select the layer created in Step 6. For Symbology Layer, click the folder button next to the drop-down arrow and select the layer file (.lyrx) created in Step 3.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Leave the remaining parameters as default.
  10. Click Run. Once the tool finishes running, the symbology from the tool's symbology layer is applied to the tool's input layer.

The following workaround is applicable if the input layer for the Apply Symbology From Layer tool is either a 32-bit float raster or a 64-bit raster:

  1. Create a copy of a single 32-bit float raster or 64-bit raster and change the pixel type of this copy to an option that is either not 32-bit float or 64-bit.
  2. In ArcGIS Pro, in the Contents pane, select the raster created in Step 1.
  3. Once a layer is selected, on the Share tab, in the Save As group, select Layer File.
  4. In the Save Layer File dialog box, select a name and location to save the output layer file (.lyrx), and then click Save.
  5. Open the Symbology pane of the layer selected in Step 1.
  6. In the Symbology pane, make changes to the selected layer's current symbology.
  7. Open the Apply Symbology From Layer tool. For Input Layer, click the drop-down arrow and select the layer with the changed symbology from Step 5. For Symbology Layer, click the folder button next to the drop-down arrow and select the layer file (.lyrx) created in Step 4.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Keep the remaining parameters as default.
  10. Click Run. Once the tool finishes running, the symbology from the tool's symbology layer is applied to the tool's input layer.
