The slowdown is due to additional processing needed for masking, especially in cases where masking geometries overlap. This change was made in order to repair a defect reported in masking under BUG-000086497 in 10.6.1. After our developer’s investigation there is not a way to resolve BUG-000086497 without the additional processing, so this issue BUG-000116198 is considered As Designed in the 10.x output pipeline. The ArcGIS Pro pipeline deals with masking in a more efficient manner, so one possible workaround would be to open the MXD in ArcGIS Pro and output to PDF from there.再現の手順
