Duplicate of NIM096793: This issue is directly related to NIM096793. The reason the compress does not work in this situation is because the CAD data stored in the GEOMETRY side table exist on state 0. A possible solution for this is to re-create that particular feature by copying that same feature from a query layer of the data. Update to the latest 10.2.1 patch release or higher to avoid this situation from occurring.
