ArcGIS Desktop TLS Patch
Esri is making configuration information and, where necessary, software updates to support TLS 1.2. Installing this patch on Windows
Installation Steps:
ArcGIS Desktop 10.6.1, 10.6, 10.5.1, 10.5, 10.4.1, 10.4, 10.3.1, 10.3, 10.2.2, or 10.2.1 must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
- Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click ArcGIS-<Version>-DT-TLS-Patch.msp to start the setup process.
NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-<Version>-DT-TLS-Patch.msp

Uninstalling this patch on Windows

To uninstall this patch on Windows, open the Windows Control Panel and navigate to installed programs. Make sure that "View installed updates" (upper left side of the Programs and Features dialog) is active. Select the patch name from the programs list and click Uninstall to remove the patch.

December 28, 2018: The ArcGIS Desktop 10.2.2 version is now available for download.
January 25, 2019: A note has been added for ArcGIS 10.3.1 and earlier versions to note required Microsoft Updates.
February 19, 2019: ArcGIS 10.3.1 and earlier downloads have been replaced with B versions that detect if the required Microsoft Updates are installed.
April 11, 2019: The ArcGIS 10.5 and 10.5.1 downloads have been replaced with B versions that address the following issue:
BUG-000121298 - TLS Patch 1.2 for ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.x overwrites the 'Templates path' setting with a value of '1' instead of showing the full directory.
How to identify which ArcGIS products are installed
To determine which ArcGIS products are installed, choose the appropriate version of the PatchFinder utility for your environment and run it from your local machine. PatchFinder will list all products, hot fixes, and patches installed on your local machine.
