Additional Information

Due to security changes, the Locate Me widget will only show when the app is loaded with https. See this blog for more information: https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2016/04/14/increased-web-api-security-in-google-chrome/

Workaround

Use the Public Information App instead, the Locate Me button operates as expected in this application.
