The arcpy.Describe hasSpatialIndex property incorrectly returns 'True' if the spatial index is removed from an enterprise geodatabase using the Remove Spatial Index tool (ST_Geometry, Oracle only).

Workaround

Use ArcCatalog to remove indexes instead of the Remove Spatial Index tool.
