Bogue
When using the category selector in ArcGIS Dashboards in addition to the zoom action, selected features do not appear. Upon zooming in or out, features appear as expected.

Zooming in and out seems to resolve the issue, which is not the most straightforward but perhaps not the most noticeable. Another workaround has not been found at this time.
