Bogue
When users format functions into a table, the entries of the function builder are removed or converted to static text in ArcGIS for Excel.

This is a limitation of Excel tables. Formulas are not supported in Excel table headers, and spilled array formulas are not supported in Excel table rows. There are two workarounds:
- To keep the formulas and convert the table to a normal cell range: After formatting as a table, go to Table Design > Tools > Convert to range.
- To keep the table and convert the formulas to text or numbers: Right after adding the formulas, select the formulas, then go to Home and click the drop-down arrow next to the 'Paste' clipboard icon and select Paste as Values. After this, go to Home. In the Styles gtoup, select Format as Table.
