When upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise version 11.1 on Kubernetes, pods with containers referencing the secret: arcgis-spatiotemporal-index-store-info for ELASTICSEARCH_PASSWORD and ELASTICSEARCH_USERNAME, are not able to restart due to missing parameters.

Solution de contournement

  • After upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes 11.1, create a new datastore and reconfigure the backup schedules. Delete the datastore created in ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes 11.0 from ArcGIS Manager, and the persistent volume (PV) or persistent volume claim (PVC) stays intact with the ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes 11.0 backups.
  • Run arcgis-upgrader on a dedicated node without downtime throughout the upgrade process.
