When inserting an embedded content into a dashboard in Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS, clicking the Static button opens the 'select a layer' window for adding a feature item (rather than a static item).

Solution de contournement

If adding a static feature, do not click the Static button. The content type and URL designations on the initial Embedded Content page are used for Data Options > Static. User must fill out this panel and click Done in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
