This issue will remain a known limitation for the ArcGIS Pro classic metadata editor. A request for this capability could be submitted as an enhancement for the ArcGIS Online metadata editor, which is used throughout the ArcGIS platform, including in ArcGIS Pro starting in version 3.5.Steps to Reproduce
