When configuring a distributed ArcGIS Enterprise environment with web adaptors running on a separate machine from other ArcGIS Enterprise components, using 'arcgis' in the name for both the ArcGIS Enterprise portal and ArcGIS Server web adaptors causes an incorrect redirect URL when opening the secured service from its item details page.

Previous documented cases have been resolved through the following methods:

Register a new web adaptor for the server without 'arcgis' in its name.

Institute a URL rewrite rule that converts the malformed URL back to the properly configured web adaptor name. Examples:

RewriteRule ^/arcgisserverserver/(.+) /arcgisserver/$1 [R,L]

RewriteRule ^/arcgistesttest/(.+) /arcgistest/$1 [R,L]
