Bogue
When a date question is answered and submitted in Survey123 for ArcGIS, time is appended to the attribute in the corresponding feature layer in ArcGIS Online.

This is the expected behaviour. A date question in Survey123 for ArcGIS is stored in the feature service in a Date field of type esriFieldTypeDate. Fields of this type store both date and time together. If only a date is specified as input, a default time is used. The default format in which the information is presented in ArcGIS Online is mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss and a specification of AM or PM.
