This is by design. By default, the Image widget refers to the image of the first feature of the connected dataset. A filter can be used, or a field can be used to sort for an alternative image to show. If additional functionality is required, contact Esri Support Services as additional information is needed for further investigation.

Solution de contournement

In order to filter or choose a sort field, vectorize the boundary of the default extent (which is also a bookmark) and then insert an image URL in the attribute table. As a result, after sorting and placing the boundary layer in the first position, the default extent behaves accordingly and automatically displays the information about the default extent.
However, this workaround corrupts the rest of the bookmarks, as the default extent is a bookmark which includes the locations of the other bookmarks. Consequently, the picture for the default extent will be shown for every other bookmark.
