The sample listed in the widget shows that the required format is a URL pointing directly to a KML: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/summary/2.5_month_age_animated.kml The sample provided in this defect is pointing to the data endpoint of an ArcGIS Online item: https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/[item ID]/data KMLs or KMZs that are added to ArcGIS Online should be added using the Search tab in the Add Data widget.Solution de contournement
