There is a difference in behavior between points and lines features if the zoom action is set in the List widget in Operations Dashboard.

Hi, When zooming to a line/polygon feature, Operations Dashboard zooms to the spatial extent of the feature (with some buffer area around the extent) so the area where the map zooms to can be different depending on the feature's spatial extent. For point features, the app defaults to the 1:10,000 zoom scale and as a result, when zooming from one point to another while you're already in the 1:10,000 scale, the map just pans to the next feature.
