Informations supplémentaires

This is expected behavior caused by the terminal configuration in use (IN_OUT_TERMINAL). In this example, the manhole in question has one line connected to the upstream IN terminal and two lines connected to the same downstream OUT terminal. While this is a directional terminal configuration, directionality only prevents flow from passing through the terminal device against the direction of flow. In this scenario, both MainPipe (OID 11) and MainPipe (OID 9) are connected to the same downstream terminal and are returned in the trace as a result. Thinking of the terminal device as a junction where multiple lines are connected to the same junction helps to illustrate why this northern spur line is returned in the upstream trace result. If the manhole is configured to use a different terminal configuration with multiple up and downstream terminals, where each downstream line connected to the manhole was connected to a different terminal, the expected result is returned. While the scenario provide uses sample data, place a controller on the IN terminal of the device at the end of MainPipe (OID 9) to serve as a sink as this is the most downstream feature.

Solution de contournement

Create and set a terminal configuration for the manhole that allows multiple lines going into, or coming out of it to connect to their own terminal. For example, ensure that the line to the north is connected to Downstream2 on the manhole whereas the line to the west is connected to the Downstream1 terminal.
